What are the differences between the 2/50 Combo and the 2/50-2?
There are some important differences. First and foremost, there is the number of speakers - the 2/50 has a single 12" speaker, whereas the 2/50-2 has two of them. Second, while the two channels of the 2/50 share a single tone-control bar, on the 2/50-2, the treble, mid, and bass controls are separated for each channel. This makes the 2/50-2 a more versatile amp in that you can set a certain type of equalization on the clean channel to contrast with the lead channel.

Which type of speakers did you use?
Celestion Vintage 30s - the worldwide standard that constitutes a great starting point from which to go out in search of your own sound. The use of high quality components allows the guitarist to achieve a constant, well-defined tone that has what it takes to blast out over the crowd and reach all the way to the back of the venue.

How would you describe the sound of the 2/50-2?
With this amp, it's easy to take advantage of the two channels to achieve an impressive quality sound, since you have at your disposal a clean channel that's deep, bright and dynamic, and a lead channel with the capacity to reproduce a surprisingly rich variety of overdrive sounds, encompassing everything from 'vintage tweed' to the powerful, pumped-up British distortion. And as the tone controls are separate for each channel, you can set different levels of equalization for each of

those channels, making this, all in all, an exceptionally versatile amp.

What can you tell us about the rear panel?
The rear panel has exactly the same functions as the single-speaker version, so there is a series/parallel Effect Loop that allows you to use the amp in conjunction with any effect in the most efficient way.
There are also Presence and Resonance controls for fine-tuning the highs and lows to cater to the acoustics of the venue where you're playing, and then there's a Full Power/Half Power function that allows you to reduce the power down to 25W when you're playing in small club - still retaining the tone of the higher volume setting.

Is the reverb included?
Yes it is. All The Valve combos are equipped with a foot-switchable Accutronic reverb. The foot-switch provides channel selection also.
